First Avenue Sculpture Exhibit Downtown Pittsburgh Art

For the first time in Pittsburgh history, sculptors will take over Downtown’s First Avenue Corridor at the foot of the Eliza Furnace Trail with more than a dozen indoor and outdoor works. The exhibit is curated by John Eastman and produced by Redfish Creative. It will feature works by local artists James Shipman, Pati Beachley, Adrienne Heinrich, Bob Ziller, Jennifer Bechak, Robert Brandegee, Tim Pisano, and John Eastman.

The First Avenue Sculpture Exhibit opens on Friday October 19, 2007 from 6-10 PM during the Cultural District Gallery Crawl. The opening will feature music by Nik Westman and guests. The exhibit will run 24 hours a day until December 14.
