Digging Pitt and Digging Pitt Too Close Their Doors

Digging Pitt and Digging Pitt Too Galleries regretfully announce their imminent closure. Since its inception in February 2005, the gallery has produced exhibits and events that have been a vital part of the Pittsburgh cultural scene. The galleries officially closed their doors on January 12, 2008. Please contact John Morris for additional information.

Digging Pitt's flat file archives included the work of over two hundred regional and national artists. Contemporary luminaries, like Martin Wilner and Jacob El-Hanani, have been included in Digging Pitt's flat file archive.
Digging Pitt's last exhibit, The Blogger Show, was extravagant in its scope. The exhibit encompassed four venues in two cities, showcasing the work of over thirty art bloggers.

In its three years of operation, Digging Pitt has produced over sixty exhibits as well as special events like artist talks, readings and workshops. Please visit Digging Pitt's website www.diggingpitt.com/pastshows.html for complete information about our past exhibits.
