Mission:
Our mission is to celebrate diversity and multi-cultural appreciation of the Asian and Asian American experience through cultural events.

Vision for the Future
Within three to five years Silk Screen plans to develop into a week- or month-long celebration of Asian and Asian American cultures with events throughout the City of Pittsburgh including educational outreach (K-12); art exhibits, theater, dance and music performances; additional Film Festival workshops; amateur/student film/video projects and submissions; specialty screenings; and filmmaker visits.
The long-term plan is to create an architecturally remarkable building that will house an Asia Center. It will be the Gateway to Asia, providing resources for cultural exchange and business.
