The Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, formerly the Parkinson Chapter of Greater Pittsburgh, was founded in 1995 with the mission to provide support and education for those living with Parkinson disease and fund medical research to discover and cause and the cure. It is the primary provider in our region of non-medical services to individuals with Parkinson disease, their families, and caregivers. Among the programs and services the Foundation provides exercise and wellness programs, education, information, referral, and support.
