moxie DaDA welcomes back Robert D. Huckestein for a special exhibition examining the motives of world leaders, past and present. The topically themed "Politics and Other Vices" premiers this Saturday, November 1, 2008. The reception will be held the same day, from 6:00-9:00pm.
No matter what side of the fence you are on, you will find Mr. Huckestein's realist paintings to be fascinating. This is the culmination of a two year effort, and has been scheduled since the beginning to coincide with the transition that our nation is about to undertake."The paintings I have done for this show express my contempt for people that will do whatever they can to maintain their power over others. Power for the sake of power is a vice, which we must protect ourselves against."
