Hey All..

Welcome to 2009!Here at Zombo Gallery, we have the gallery pretty much booked up until Dec 2010!The response we are continuing to receive from Pittsburgh is astounding..So, thanks to you all.

So, Here's what's cooking..

The Ukulele show turned out quite well. Thanks to Nathan for putting it all together. Ukulizzy for playing. The closing party is this Saturday at 6pm till 10ish. (Join Zombo and his new band The Whips performing at REMEDY at 10pm ..it's right around the corner from the Gallery!) Also Nathan promised a cool Uke duo will be playing around 8pm at the Gallery as part of the closing party.

Our Second Annual "Big Hang Up" (The show hangs Thursday Jan 8th from 5-7:30pm) and opens Friday, Jan 9th at 6pm.This is our mini "Art All Night" style event. This is where we open the floodgates to the gallery and invite YOU to bring YOUR artwork to hang in the gallery for the entire month of January. (Show Closes Jan.30).Bring any kind/style/media artwork (with label and price) to the gallery on Jan 8th and we will do the rest. (20% commission to the gallery on all sales). If you are interested in performing on either the opening or closing receptions, just let us know.

The Paintings and Illustrations of Adam Waddell (you have to see the way cool attachment)Opens on Feb 6th at 6pm/ Closes Friday Feb 27th at 6pmLast year Adam's artwork at Art All Night completely stole the show. We had to give him an entire show. This young and unpretentious fellow from Aliquippa is quickly making a name for himself. So, Rather than blather on about what he and his art are all about, just take one gander at his promo card and you will get the message.and keep in mind the painting on the card is HUGE.

The Lawrenceville Off-Leash Dog Park Benefit Show. One night only Saturday Feb. 21st from 7-11pm.We are doing an art benefit show to build funds for a community off-leash dog park for the Lawrenceville community. The show will be ALL DOG THEMED ARTWORK. How cool is that. We are looking for art submissions. The artist can make a 30% commission, if their piece sells. Contact us and let us know if you can get involved.

All for now! Zombo Gallery 4900 Hatfield St. Pgh, PA 15201
