Lots of art openings on November 5, 2010. Even if you can't make the openings keep in mind the end dates for the exhibits. It's more about the art itself when it's not the opening (usually).

Unblurred is great as far as a social happening and for highlighting urban renewal through the arts but it isn't always about the visual artist who is trying to promote people purchasing their work so they can continue making art in Pittsburgh. Artists who display at venues without regular hours or on site sales have a harder road ahead of them for the most part.
For people who are interested in supporting locally based visual artists who aren't able to make every first friday Unblurred on Penn Ave there are just a few sales oriented galleries who have hours:
