Most Pittsburgh public art is art that was not made by Pittsburgh artists. It boils down to a lack of self confidence, not in our artists, but in the intellegence of granting foundations.
ReplyDeleteWith long term thinking these foundations might realise that self confidence is sexy and make the right choice.
