Charlee Brodsky's photographs are paired with narratives by individuals conveying personal experiences with mental illness. A short film with interviews of people whose narratives are in the exhibit brings to life their experiences regarding coping mechanisms, acceptance and recovery. The exhibit is traveling to southwestern Pennsylvania venues throughout 2010.

I wanted to give you an update on my latest film project, RACHEL IS. It is a documentary following a year in the life of a young Pittsburgh woman with mental retardation. It is a powerful film about one family's struggle toprovide an independent life for their daughter. Please check out our newly updated website: www.rachelis.com
We are in the process of submitting the film to festivals and distributors for consideration, so any leads there would be great.Our biggest need right now, though, is to secure additional funds for our marketing efforts.
