Greene County Landscapes at Gallery on 43rd Street Gallery on 43rd Street invites you to view Greene County Landscapes : pastels by David Lesako. Stop by for an opening reception on Friday, May 9 from 7 to 10 p.m. Lesako's landscapes are influenced by the wild beauty and topography that surrounds him; he and his wife live in a log cabin in rural Greene County. Working en plein air and hiking to many sites, Lesako studies seasonal changes and feels he is documenting the region as coal mining steadily alters the landscape. >> Gallery on 43rd Street is located at 187 43rd Street (Lawrenceville).

A Dream of Fair Women at La VieLa Vie presents A Dream of Fair Women during an opening reception on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m.. The theme, curated by the Corridor Project, links three shows in three venues: Red Room Café, Dozen Bake Shop, and La Vie. The dream began at the Red Room on April 30 and continues (through La Vie's opening on May 11) and "wakes" at 6 p.m. on May 17 on the second floor of Dozen Bake Shop.
