Sirani Gallery is pleased to announce two new exhibitions of work currently on display. The first is by American painter Frank Gonzales who is rapidly gaining recognition throughout the U.S. and Europe. As an artist Gonzales aims to create a dialogue between the viewer and the canvas. To do so he uses recognizably classical subject matter intermixed with both geometric and organic shapes all done through a profound understanding of color-theory and composition. Gonzales explains his work to be very “process oriented”, essentially remaining open to possibilities from the beginning of the composition until the final brush stroke.

Sharing a similar style and approach to the creative process is our second new artist, Hector Fernandez. Fernandez was born in Barcelona, Spain where he still lives and works today. His work demonstrates an uncanny technical ability. By removing everyday elements from urban life, often looked upon from untraditional perspectives, he has created what has become known as new realism. A professional artist for two decades, Fernandez was invited to join the prestigious Sant Lluc Artistic Circle. Founded in 1893, the Circle has included an array of modern masters such as Gaudi, Miro, Llmona, Casas and others. Fernandez’ work has brought this brand of realism to the forefront of modern European Painting. For additional bio information or more work from either artist, free to visit our website SiraniGallery.com.
