One of the most eagerly awaited annual events in Pittsburgh, this exciting 2-week long celebration features over 40 films — films made in Pittsburgh, documentaries, independent American cinema, shorts, restored classics with live music, and cutting-edge international films. There are parties throughout the city, a photo auction, visiting filmmakers, informal post-screening discussions and more.

The Three Rivers Film Festival remains the oldest and largest annual film festival in the Pittsburgh area, an inclusive celebration. Recognizing all the things "film" can be — we offer a something for everyone.Three Rivers Film Festival is a program of Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Pittsburgh Filmmakers offers membership, access, education and exhibition programs in media arts. Three Rivers Film Festival is a Pennsylvania Festival. Preview Events
Pittsburgh Filmmakers will host preview events for the 3 Rivers Film Festival. Come for hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and to catch a sneak peak at upcoming programming for the film festival, which runs November 7-22. Film clips will be available for viewing, and Filmmakers staff will be on hand to answer questions about this very special event. Come to learn more about the largest film festival in our region, and to catch a glimpse of some great cinema soon to screen here.

SINGLE TICKETS
Tickets for non-special-event shows are $8. Single tickets will be sold at the theaters one half-hour before showtime. Also single ticket for any one film can be purchased in advance online at proartstickets.org . Please see Calendarpage of the Festival website for links for each film and showtime.
SPECIAL EVENTS TICKETS
Tickets for Special Events can be purchased online at proartstickets.org or at the front desk at Filmmakers (477 Melwood Ave) during business hours.
SIX-PACK PASSES (with Free Coffee and T-shirt!)
A Six-Pack Pass is $40 and includes six admissions to any non-special-event shows, plus a festival T-shirt. Six-Pack Passes are on sale now at all Crazy Mocha locations; receive a free coffee with purchase. These are also sold at all three of our theaters, and at the front desk at Filmmakers during business hours, and at proartstickets.org.
SILVER SCREENIE PASSES
A new Silver Screenie Pass is also on sale now for $125 (or $195 for two). This is good for all films and all Special Events except the two shows of The Passion of Joan of Arc with the Bach Choir. This pass also gets you into the VIP cocktail party on Opening Night on Nov. 7th at Concept Art Gallery, and the Film Symposium. These passes are available online atproartstickets.org, at all three theaters, and at the front desk at Filmmakers during business hours.

Speaking of great art and such, The film called The Cove is comming to Pittsburg,PA Manor Theatre. Its a great film that displays activism,urgency and passion for dolphins in Japan. It has gotten great reviews and is a "must see" for lovers of authentic films.
