The Pittsburgh Galleries blog is a volunteer effort from Rick Byerly to promote Pittsburgh art events which feature artists from the area. Art All Night 2009 is set for April 25-26, 2009! Location to be determined.

The first public meeting of the Art All Night organizing committee will be held Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Foster Center, 286 Main Street Pittsburgh PA 15201 in Lawrenceville. If you are interested in volunteering, please join us!

Art All Night: Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh) is a free annual celebration of arts and community. Anyone and everyone is invited to submit one (and only one) piece of artwork or sign up to perform during this one-of-a-kind neighborhood event attended by over 7,500 people on the last weekend of April. The event is held in a different venue within the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh each year. Visit to learn about how you can get involved.

No fee. No jury. No censorship

Have you checked out Art All Night All Year yet? Hundereds of artists have uploaded pictures of their work from last years show. Contact information and descriptions of the works are included so check it out now. Remember, like the show there is No Censorship.
