Does any one know Swoon's connection to Pittsburgh? Having such a figure show so much interest in our city is truly a god send. I would love some links to any of her recent work in Pittsburgh - I haven't been home in so long. I still remember the first time I saw Swoon's work in a set back abandoned doorway on Penn ave. in Bloomfield and walking the 4 blocks out of my way everyday after just to have another glimpse.
ReplyDeletenot 100% sure just that a lot of brooklyn based artists have taken a major interest in braddock pa
ReplyDeletebraddock mayor john fetterman may be the best person to contact on that (or maybe john morris, digging pitt blog)
