Handmade Arcade Pittsburgh Art Festival November 8 and 9, 2008

After four amazing years at Construction Junction, Handmade Arcade is moving! Handmade Arcade 2008 will be held at the Hunt Armory in Shadyside (http://www.rahuntfdn.org/armory.shtml), just a short hop away from East Liberty and close to major bus lines. The Hunt Armory was built in 1916 and has had a long and varied history in Pittsburgh, having hosted everyone from Billy Graham to Led Zeppelin. We hope that this move will allow HA to really grow and continue to bring you all the best indie and DIY crafts Pittsburgh and beyond have to offer. And a huge thank you to Construction Junction (http://www.constructionjunction.org/) for being our home for four years. HA would not be what it is today without the support of the fine folks at Construction Junction.

Hunt Armory is located at 324 Emerson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.

Handmade Arcade is Pittsburgh’s largest indie craft fair, now in its fifth year. Last year, over 8,000 attended Handmade Arcade.
The annual Handmade Arcade was created to give grassroots, independent crafters an opportunity to show and sell their wares, and to provide an alternative to traditional craft and art fairs.

You’ll find innovative visual art, jewelry, scary and sweet stuffed creatures, knitted accessories, silk screened prints and tees, felted fashions, hand bound books, spun yarns, stationery, ‘zines, housewares and lots more.
