I try to keep a current listing of Pittsburgh area art galleries and non traditional venues with their contact info etc at http://www.pghgalleries.com/ and hoping if you see something inaccurate and a gallery needs added to shoot me an email, rickATuniquetake.com. This blog and http://www.pghgalleries.com/ are volunteer efforts.
Also in the works is an ecommerce enabled website for Pittsburgh area artists to offer their work for sale online, free artist home pages which are currently available at PghGalleries.com, a Pittsburgh art review website once a good template is found, and a loosely based print co-op where artists can order supplies in bulk and save on shipping, especially things like matting, framing, archival supplies etc. If you're interested in helping out or have some feedback to pass on that would be great!
And as always if you don't see Pittsburgh art events being listed on this blog point me to an email list to sign up or put me on one if you run it.
