Romero Britto's art can be viewed at galleries around the world. And for a few weeks beginning in September, it will be on view in Pittsburgh as well.

From Sept. 26-Oct. 19,2008 a dozen of Britto's sculptures will be on display at The Waterfront in Homestead as part of "Britto Tours America." The Waterfront's Town Center will host the 6-foot high pieces that are based on Britto's most-recognized pop art images, including "Dancing Boy." "Good Girl" and "Azur (Blue Dog)."

Proceeds will benefit Pro Youth Brazil, an organization founded by Pittsburgher Rachel Stephaich and devoted to improving living conditions for disadvantaged children in Brazil. Other events include a passport shopping day on Sept. 26, featuring refreshments, gifts and trunk shows along with Brazilian music and entertainment.
