Carnegie Museums taking charge of Three Rivers Arts Festival.

Perhaps a chance for local arts and artists to be the primary focal points in the Three Rivers Arts Festival instead of food, crafts and national touring artists? Probably more about the financial control and the bottom line than anything else so chances are we won't see reduced art vendor fees and more local artists at the festival. Don't worry there will still be plenty of food to perpetuate the Pittsburgh tradition of fattening food above all else.
