Pittsburgh, Pa Dec 5, 2007 -- Just in time for the holidays, The Great Frame Up in Shadyside has added new gift collections by local artists. These unique finds at this eclectic frame shop & art gallery will now be offered year 'round. Visit them in the Shadyside Village Shopping Center, located at S. Aiken & Walnut, where you’ll be dazzled by a broad array of colorful and interesting merchandise. Word is spreading around town as the featured artists draw in their loyal clients as well. The owners are always interested in meeting accomplished local artists who would like to consider having their merchandise displayed in the storefront - as an outreach to the community at large, and as a support system for the creators to house their work in a beautiful retail store with an accent on art.
Sewickley photographer Cathy Kelly displays a stunning collection of nature photographs, including extreme close-ups of flowers, fall leaves, snow scenes and butterflies. You can buy ready-to-frame prints of these remarkable images, as well as note cards & thank you notes, and her unique ceramic tiles.
