Pittsburgh Art Articles: The Art of Failure and Non-traditional Venues

There are two Pittsburgh Tribune Review art related articles worth checking out and the link to info on the documentary done on Chuck Connelly by Pittsburgh native Jeff Stimmel here.

"The Art of Failure, Chuck Connelly Not For Sale", written by William Loeffler

His name is Chuck Connelly. He may be the greatest Pittsburgh artist you never heard of.

Nearly six years in the making, Stimmel's film paints a portrait of a brilliant and charismatic artist who sabotaged a promising career through hubris, bad business decisions and a seemingly pathological inability to keep his big mouth shut.

....

and "Non-traditional venues can inspire art, or just great performances", written by Alice T Carter
Not all theater takes place in theaters.
