arty party Sat August 2 2008 West End Pittsburgh

Arty Party: Saturday August 2, 2008 Noon to Dusk, $5 donation and byob.

210 Marlow St, Pittsburgh's West End, Zip Cose 15220.

I think Pittsburgh art fans will want to check out the invite above and comments below:

note from a friend:

This is a fun and big event full of the movers and shakers of our area's art world. Gary is known for his ability to transform neglected urban lots into stunning gardens full of life and vitality. I will be dedicating "Green Man", presented as a living 12' tall topiary garden spirit, to Gary as a fitting tribute to a man that has given us so much natural beauty. The event is open to the public so please join the party and see the garden, art and contributing artists.

  1. Thank you Rick for picking up on this annual garden party. This is a public event and all are welcome.
This gig features site specific architectural sculpture, topiary, mural, pottery, organic reclamation and recycling arts.
No grants were used to support this initiative. We are only beholding to the artists, friends and folks that are ALL WELCOME to attend.
    All smiles, David Edwards Art
